The ICCA Bar Course

Outstanding Bar Training for Future Barristers

The ICCA Bar Course provides an innovative and highly successful approach to training the barristers of the future.

“The ICCA has the highest average passing rate across both Litigation subjects and all sittings to date … The ICCA is, thus far, some way ahead of the other AETO centres in terms of cohort performance.” BSB Central Examinations Board Chair’s Report 26 February 2024 (page 47)

As a not-for-profit Bar training provider, our first priority is to enable every ICCA student to achieve their ambition to become a barrister. We remain true to our core values, including providing Bar training of the highest quality at the lowest sustainable cost, achieving outstanding academic and pupillage success rates, providing a Bar Course which the profession respects as directly relevant to practice and employing a fair admissions model which contributes to a more diverse entry into the profession.

With 97% of our 2021 graduates having secured pupillage and with the highest BSB centralised assessment pass rates of all Bar training providers, the ICCA attracts students and career changers from over 50 universities in a diverse and supportive community.
