The Inns of Court College of Advocacy, ICCA (formerly the ATC) has just delivered a round of training in Zimbabwe. Hosted by the Law Society of Zimbabwe (LSZ), with the enthusiastic participation of several High Court Judges.
Although the training was supposed to be the training of teacher trainees, led mostly by the local LSZ faculty, it was decided that to ensure the benefits of the Method were clearly on show to the Judges the event should instead be largely standard advocacy training.
The judges were so happy that they have suggested there should be training or a conference specifically for judges in October 2016, on the Method, and how far advocacy training can go, who should undergo it, at what level of practice, and in what types of practice.
