Fees and funding for the ICCA Bar Course

The ICCA Bar Course fees are competitively priced. As a not-for-profit organisation, we aim to keep our costs as low as possible without comprising on quality. We also offer a flexible payment schedule, and our fees are only payable upon enrolment, which means you pay once you’ve committed to the course.

The ICCA Bar Course fees for 2022/2023 are £13,990. This is the cost for both Parts One and Two. We do not expect a deposit and there are no hidden admin fees. For transparency, the table below provides a breakdown of how the ICCA Bar Course fees are calculated.

Refunds

Any student who decides not to proceed with the Part One course within 14 days of enrolment is entitled to a full refund.

A student leaving before or up to the halfway stage of Part Two will receive a refund of half the ICCA Part Two fee (the BSB fee is not included).

Funding

The ICCA will be launching a Bursary Scheme funded by Specialist Bar Associations for students who have financial difficulty. This will allow students to apply for funding (discount) towards the ICCA Bar Course fees. We are aiming for the fund to be in place from September 2022.

The Inns of Court provide over £6M of scholarships for Bar Course and GDL candidates regardless of where they choose to do their training.
